Then, going even further, if you pick up an item you’re interested in, the label on the packaging lists all ingredients in the dish, nutritional information in an easy to read font, and size! Many of the dishes come in small, medium, and large, so if you’re feeding a family or you just want some leftovers, you can buy bigger sizes. Then, below each individual product you’ll see a label that tells you what you’re getting, the price, and which dietary categories it falls into. First, it’s lined up under large banner categories like breakfast, seafood, salads, etc. To help their customers quickly find what they need, all of the food is organized in a couple different ways. When those times hit, Snap Kitchen is a great option! All of their meals are fresh and healthy and if you’re on a special diet ( Dairy Free, Paleo, Vegan, Whole 30, Vegetarian, Gluten Free, Etc…), the food is all labeled accordingly. That might be my Type A brain at work, but it’s so important to be able to find things quickly and easily, especially when you only have a few minutes to stock up on some meals for the week! As you know, I’m a huge advocate for cooking at home as much as possible, but sometimes there are days or weeks when it’s just not possible. When I walked into the brightly lit and colorful store, I immediately noticed that everything was so well labeled and organized.

Sounds too good to be true, right? I had driven by the Snap Kitchen up the road from me dozens of times but had never stopped in until now – I’m so glad I did! Thank you for choosing snap, and we hope to see you again soon.Yesterday morning I took a trip to my local Snap Kitchen, a one stop healthy meal shop that has breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, snack, and drink options that are locally prepared by hand and cooked in neighborhood kitchens. We can assure you that your feedback has been forwarded to both our distribution and procurement team in order to reevaluate and improve our shipment methods. We’re sorry to hear that your first shipment experience was subpar! This is definitely not the experience we want our customers to have.

I was frankly shocked to log in and find such high reviews. TLDR: if you like a Lean Cuisine but want half the flavor at three times the price, with better macros but higher calories, and a headache when it arrives, this might just be the food service plan for you. The taste is meh at best of what we’ve been able to salvage. The plastic tops are paper thin and they are stacked with heavy ice packs and need more substantial containers. They apologized and my agent was very friendly and helpful, but there is no wonder why they didn’t arrive safely.
SNAP KITCHEN FULL
I wish I’d asked for a full refund for the trouble but I didn’t. I was refunded for them, but immediately cancelled my subscription - such a hassle to wait for food and think you’ve made life easier, and it isn’t. Of 12 meals, 7 arrived with busted containers, snapped lids, plastic in the food. It also would not save my apartment number - thankfully our packages go to a mailroom and you get your own, so I was able to get it. It’s a small annoyance I’d normally ignore but once my order arrived it was so subpar and just an awful experience.

The app itself is easy enough to navigate, but could use tweaking - I wasn’t able to track my shipping through the app or even copy the tracking number to pop it into the web browser on my phone. Thank you!Īpp is fine, food is basic, shipping it the worst. We do put a lot of care and love into our app and our food, reading this means a lot to us. When I'm in job interviews and get the "tell me about a product you love and why" question this app is my go to. I doubt there is any meal subscription app out there that even comes close to this one. The importance they placed/place on understanding their customers and using that knowledge to build their products around that is as good as I've seen, and it really shows in this amazing app.Īny feature you could possibly want is in it and it's designed so we'll it's still simple to use. There were probably 5 or more Snap employees that took the time to spend an hour talking just with me. I know for a fact that they did extensive research to understand what their customers needs and wants were when building this app - I've been a long-time customer of their retail stores in Austin and participated in a focus group when they were in the research/build phase. I work as Product Manager and you can just tell they've done, and continue to do, everything right when it comes to building a mobile app. This is the app I use as a benchmark for all other apps.
